1001 Albums Summary

Not my thing, not something I will revisit, but impressed by the maturity of it, the Englishness of it. Difficult to believe a 20 year old in 2004. Revisited which were singles, not so obvious. No bangers, I’m not the market

I have definitely given this a whirl back in the day when it was P4k’s best album of whatever Deeply not my thing, lots of lounge R&B stuff. Second side is 100% better, hated first few

Tremendous. The patronage of Bowie is clearly huge, fabulous period inc Low - the production here arguably better (especially the lack of the bronchial drums). Bowie wrote and directed the title track - it’s a cultural touchstone but oft ignored. James sounds great throughout

Not the biggest DC fan or even a rock/metal head - but has it ever sounded better?

Tremendous - much better than I was hoping. Would revisit plenty in context
