Blood And Chocolate by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Jun 27 2025

Honestly, this album was fine. It didn't grip me personally, I found it a tad bit boring, but I appreciated hearing a version of Elvis Costello I hadn't heard before, and also loved how clearly you could hear his influence on Elliott Smith in this album.

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Jun 30 2025

This was actually my first time listening to a Led Zeppelin album front to back, which is surprising given my absolute adoration for Coheed and Cambria. This was an excellent listen, and again so fun to hear how their music has influenced artists I love today.

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
Jul 01 2025

This was a genuinely enjoyable listen, good instrumentation, a great groove, completely enjoyed this.

Pornography by The Cure
Jul 02 2025

From what I knew about The Cure, this one came as quite the surprise. Very industrial, and as it started I was pretty involved, but then as it droned on....I got pretty bored. Funny enough, I'd like to listen again because the good moments were very good, but this isn't my fave.
