1001 Albums Summary

Risky way to start off my listening journey! I'm uniquely put off by punk/alternative rock music mostly by my misunderstanding of the musical rhythms and often grating vocals. It was a good practice to give music like this a chance! I enjoy the mixture of instruments and turns out I found several of their melodies catchy! Also their lyrics are sometimes very funny. Weird, good start to the journey!

I was ready to give this a 5 star easy and then I got to the prophet song, and that got too wonky for me. 4.5 from me! extra brownie points after I learned that some of this was recorded in a barn
