1001 Albums Summary

I loved 'Pitch the Baby'. Very nice sound for the album overall especially from a production and effects standpoint. Makes you feel like you are floating. But it is kinda repetitive. I think a lot of indie artists took inspiration from their work.

As much as I like the album, I am more fascinated by the story of Tom Scholtz. The man not only recorded, produced and mixed most of the instrumental parts but he also built the recording studio and some of the equipment himself, honestly incredible. The sound is wonderful, perfect arena rock styled music!

Not for me

Nothing unique musically or sonically speaking, but a good album nonetheless. My opinion does not consider the lyrical prowess.
