This album is a blast of boozy, blues-rock energy, and while it’s undeniably fun, it doesn’t always rise above its own swagger. Tracks like *"Stay with Me"* and *"Miss Judy's Farm"* are standouts—full of raw charm and Ronnie Wood’s killer guitar work—but at times, the relentless bluesy groove starts to feel repetitive. Rod Stewart’s raspy charisma carries the album, though some songs blur together in a haze of barroom riffs.

No need for a re-listen. 4.

Axis will always hold a place as one of the best albums ever recorded, in my opinion. The experimentation juxtaposed with the classic rock sound, creates a sonic experience so unique, that we haven't even seen it done by others. Must listen in stereo, it's very important for the true experience of this masterpiece.

Michael peaked on this album. And the King of pop peaking, is a 5.

Flawed but fun listen, with moments of brilliance. Bouncy and futuristic, full of quirks in Timbalands production. Missy's charisma is unmatched, playful, confident, and powerful even on weaker tracks. There are simply too many filler tracks.This album could have been a 4/5 with 4-5 tracks removed. The overused skits, and cheap punchlines drag it down to a two for me. Work It, and Gossip Folks claws the album on a hard climb to a three. Timbaland grabs the edge of that three, and keeps it there for me.

David Gray's White Ladder is a strong 4/5 - consistently excellent with moments of brilliance ("Babylon," "Sail Away"), though not every track reaches the same peak. The album's intimate production and emotional depth make it stand out, even if it falls just short of being a flawless masterpiece.
