Admire the way he gets Jesus and America into the first few lines but for me this entire album sucks harder than woody and buzz on poppers

Ok a little controversial but I find this album a little flat, I know everyone raves about it and I do like stevie but apart from the first two tracks and superstition it's just all a bit uninspiring.

Can you separate the music from the artists personality? Where Morrissey is concerned no. What a twat.

I quite liked this. The lyrics point to a troubled soul but I like the music whilst feeling for the artist

Confession. Never listened to this album and was never a Sabbath fan. This is a good album, I can hear how it influenced so many bands, even hear early queen in there. Geezer and bill were a tight and talented rhythm section and Ozzy was totally different. I always thought iommy was the talent but on this album he is the lesser of 4 parts.
