I love hip hop, but I do not consider this album one of the best in history. 50 Cent was not bad, but I feel like his rise to stardom had more to do with Shady Records and Eminem than his actual lyrical prowess. It’s a fun record and I listened to it when it came out and twice yesterday.

Live! by Fela Kuti
Jul 23 2025

I’m not much of a fan of world music, however, this album was quite enjoyable. The only thing that I didn’t like was, it’s a little too jam band for my tastes.

Station To Station by David Bowie
Jul 27 2025

David Bowie is incredible and this album is timeless. I love this album!

Technique by New Order
Jul 28 2025

I love New Wave music. It really is a great album.

Made In Japan by Deep Purple
Jul 30 2025

I’m not usually a fan of live albums, but this one definitely hits different. Beside showcasing the talents of the musicians behind Deep Purple, (of Smoke on the Water fame) the recording quality is superb. Great sounds, great music, what could go wrong?

Larks' Tongues In Aspic by King Crimson
Jul 31 2025

This album gave me a headache. I am not a fan of prog-rock. Yes, the album was ahead of it’s time, but I did not enjoy it at all.

The Next Day by David Bowie
Aug 01 2025

I’m more of a fan of older Bowie.

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Aug 02 2025

When I was younger, I didn’t understand the hype around Led Zeppelin. Now that I’m older and have a broader taste in music, I absolutely love Led Zeppelin. Their catalog of hits is incredible and that is showcased on all of their albums. Led Zeppelin II is an instant classic.

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Aug 03 2025

This album is a classic.

White Ladder by David Gray
Aug 06 2025

I enjoyed the calming feel of this album. I was just starting out in life when this album came out, so it wasn’t even on my radar.
