1001 Albums Summary

Bueno es un album que ya conocía, me encanta la voz de Norah Jones pero procedemos a ello. Su voz es preciosa y me lleva a un lugar tan concreto.. Lo estoy escuchando a primera hora de la mañana y me parece bastante oportuno. 1. Don´t know why: una cancion agradable pero quizas no reseñable. 2. Seven years: la instrumental tan sencilla te da espacio mental para mentalmente estar y la duración me parece perfecta. 3. Cold cold heart: ese bajooooo me encanta. Su sencillez es muy característica. "and so my hear is paying now for things i didn't do". "the more i learn to care for you the more we drift apart". Siento que canta de un proceso doloroso pero con esa melodía sencilla y luminosa que le da tanto aire y sirve como parachoque del daño. 4. Feelin' The Same Way: aaaaa la melodía vocal es perfecta, guardada. "So many times I wonder where I've gone And how I found my way back in I look around awhile for something lost Maybe I'll find it in the end" 5. Come Away With Me: "Come away where they can't tempt us With their lies". Es como si te llevara de la mano por sus pensamientos, sus deseos, su imaginario.. 6. Shoot the Moon: "The summer days are gone too soon You shoot the moon and miss completely And now you're left to face the gloom The empty room that once smelled sweetly" Vamos a ella la han dejado y ella le echa la culpa a la estacion del año jajajajaja que tía 7. Turn Me On: una de mis canciones favoritas de mi vida sin duda. Es perfecta me temo. "My hi-fi is waiting for a new tune My glass is waiting for some fresh ice cubes I'm just sitting here waiting for you To come on home and turn me on" 8. Lonestar: "Lonestar, where are you out tonight? This feeling I'm trying to fight It's dark and I think that I would give anything For you to shine down on me" Ya el album a estas alturas se empieza a hacer un poco monótono, pero al menos tiene una visión clara y redonda. 9. I’ve Got to See You Again: la instrumental aquí parece dar un giro, mientras su voz se mantiene en el mismo lugar pero con otro sentir. "I could almost go there Just to watch you be seen I could almost go there Just to live in a dream" ella persigue a toda costa a su crush vamos. 10. Painter Song: "If I were a painter I would paint my reverie If that's the only way for you to be with me We'd be there together Just like we used to be Underneath the swirling skies for all to see" no conocía esta canción y me ha encantado. 11. One Flight Down: la malodia con la que comienza me atrapó desde el primer instante. 12. Nightingale: se me hizo un poco pesada. Es como que despues de este aire en el album vuelve a sentirse algo denso. 13. The Long Day Is Over: expresa genial el titulo de la canción, solo que no parece acabar, ya estamos strugglin. 14. The Nearness of You: casi que se siente el llegar a la meta por fin. "I need no soft lights to enchant me If you will only grant me the right To hold you ever so tight And to feel in the night The nearness of you" Si te gustan las canciones tranquilas con alegorías a la naturaleza y el amor insistente a un amor idealizado, sin duda este es tu album. A mi particularmente se me hace con el paso de las canciones algo pesado. Hay muchas que disfruto, pero al escucharlo de seguido es poco variante y diría que es ideal quizas para tenerlo de fondo en momentos de la vida cotidiana donde te apetezca romantizar. Su voz es una gozada, sencilla y directa. Y su manera de componer es muy reconocible. Un buen album, aunque para mi gusto con 10 canciones hubiera sido más que suficiente. 6,5/10
