1001 Albums Summary

Funky, hard riffs and a lot of solos. All round good listening, sort of thing that is fun to throw on and forget it's own until it reminds you that it's awesome with a sick lil break down or a sick lick.

Classic album, great for getting that head down and getting lost in something.

Not my go to genre, but absolutely solid album with a little bit of a lul after the midpoint, however a good number of solid singles which elevate the album a bit more. The band is also a bit "cool uncool cool" which I like.

Great middle tracks and big bangers. 90's sound to the maximum, suspect/weird lyrics, but I imagine that they are fun when out in a 90s/2000s rave.

pure funk on funk, great riffs and the aesthetic of the album is really cool and you really get down with the vibe.

I can understand why this is a huge band for a lot of people, not quite my cup of tea. The recognisable singles are pretty good, however the rest of the album isn't particularly interesting not captivating. I wanted to like Blondie, but not for me.

Band that I know of, and album which I have definitely listened to before. From the intro, you know what you're going to get and it is a good dad rock ol time. Loving the selection of instruments and solos. Thought I would enjoy but not really enjoy as dad rock is a weird genre for me, but 3 songs I was having a good time but then it all became a bit samey and bit predictable. It's okay to listen to as background 'dad rock' music, but the interest dies out once you stop being enamoured by solos and lack of substance.
