- Bluebird Wine: immediately fond of this! my kind of country :] soft and bubbly and bright like my childhood rodeo endeavours. - Boulder to Birmingham: a soft, sweet and simple ballad to make you weep. nothing overly complicated but endearing nonetheless. - Bottle Let Me Down: fun and truly, TRULY country. alcoholism for the win? - For No One: Spectacular gimme 15 of them. musically reminds me of drop cherries by billie marten if she was more american and less artsy. my album of choice for a bareback ride through the mountains :] very fond indeed. all the songs songs have a soft, lullaby-esque quality tied in with the calming cozy culture that calls me to country lifestyle. this album sounds like what baby me pictured her life looking like. folksy but not fairytale. 3/5

utterly obsessed with the sound. unique but familiar at the same time! same feeling I get listening to riptide by vance joy or she’s a riot! bouncy, real and vibrant. 4.5/5

clearly very influential but not my personal style of music. rlly liked the first two songs but everything else fell flat for me. 2.5/5

probably a good album but u wouldn’t be able to tell bc it’s MIXED LIKE PURE SHIT. lyrics are good, so wish I could hear them. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT LISTEN WITH HEADPHONES.

love the way each song blends into one another. might be a bit long considering what it is but if I was a metal fan I would want another 4 hours. lyrics r a bit silly but I think that’s to be expected from white men in 2008.
