Very raw emotionally, iconic heavy metal rythem, lyrics are unintelligible at points, but I think that's intentional. The words we are able to make out feel more impactful. I can see why people would call it edgy and tripe, but coming out of the emotional apathy that was the mid 90s, it answers a different anger (and I'll admit, angst) than what was around it generally. I think it's not my cup of tea for a full listen through, but to someone else I can absolutely understand if this album defined the musical tastes of a lot of my generation. Feels like an album full of singles, not sure if I could put this on a road trip and listen cover to cover. It does make me want to buy a drum kit and play the ever living shit out of it, the drums absolutely carry this for me.
