I liked that I heard some new sounds. Lana's high pitched squealing vocals are something I would try to imitate haha. Would I listen again? Yes but it wasn't that memorable for me. Dark but just a game was a good song.
first song was like a stretched out pink floyd dark side guitar solo, really cool. second song is the full composition, verses hook, theme, very solid. last song is cool with the baby coos and protest audio overlaying the instrumentals. Overall this is exactly what I expect a masterful 70s album to sound like- trippy guitar, soulful organ, upbeat percussion.
I've heard "Jesus, Etc." before. I liked it. The overall feel of the album is soft, synthy, padded percussion. It's not memorable for me but it was good background music while I was working.

Made it through most of the 2 hour and 15 minute album. The highs are Everest and the lesser known tracks I kind of zoned out on.
Kept me entertained as background music during work. "Tonight May Have To Last Me All My Life" stood out to me. I love hearing songs that sample others and this album was apparently one of the trailblazers of sampling in modern music.
It was interesting to hear a British reggae artist, but I didn’t connect with the songs or grasp the concept—it just wasn’t for me.
Good acoustic background music, didn't pay attention to lyrics. Would relisten.
White people music. Not bad tbh. Alex Turner is a good musician and he makes this album a solid indie rock listen, not much stood out to me.
I'll always enjoy some international folk music. fun listen all the way through. There is a world beyond our day to day lives and listening to music like this is crucial to keep us connected to each other.
white people music. I thought I was an indiehead but this was a boring listen.
opening song was cool. nice indie / alt rock.
not my thing at all. I can see how this band inspired and pioneered dream pop / shoe gaze, but this 2013 project did not mesh with my taste. It's a damp drug mumble over a damp chord progression and clanky percussion. I tried to listen to it but I kept zoning out.
