Never got the Prince hype. The neighbours must have thought there was a summers day orgy occurring when international lover was playing. 2 stars.
Started off pretty good I thought but then just descended into dullness.
A lovely voice and a lovely listen.
Very enjoyable. I knew a few songs from them beforehand that aren't on the album such as Dont Do It which is a tune. I enjoyed when a lyric involved the word 'you' and particularly enjoyed Jawbone. I reckon this album would get better and better with each listen and each track would take turns being a favourite.
In addition, the lad second from the right looks exactly like a lad I used to work with, and second from the left has Christopher Waltz vibes. Neither of those two look a like points are relevant to note in regards to the rating of the album, but are worth noting none the less.
A tough listen because I thought it was shit.
Very good. Particularly enjoyed from The Song Is Over onwards. Starting with Baba O'Riley and ending with Won't Get Fooled Again is a quite a strong way to start and end an album. Well done to you, The Who.
Im afraid the second track killed me off. Can't stand country music for the most part especially when it's this dull and every song feels like it lasts 10 minutes without anything happening. Then the next track comes on and you experience exactly the same except this time as oppose to a past lover they're now singing about the devil. Its shit mate.
Did enjoy listening to it but not a great album for me with some tracks that just passed by without any real note to take from it. Nice to have the memories from our younger days of George bouncing energetically and somewhat violently into me whilst shouting "Hey Paul, Hey Paul, Hey Paul. Let's have a ball" flood back to me when listening to Gigantic.
Enjoyed listening to this whilst working although it's not a memorable album and doesn't have anything that would be pulling me back to listen again. Its just a decent album.
Much prefer the first two Doors albums but this is a enjoyable listen even if it doesn't set the world alight.
Best Track - Peace Frog
Other Liked Tracks- Roadhouse Blues
Maggie M'Gill
Very dull and tough listen. I'll stick to the best of.
Best Track - Orange Crush
Enjoyable album. Some weak tracks on it but as a whole I was interested throughout.
Best Track - Jesus, Etc
Other Liked Tracks - I Am Trying To Break Your Heart
Ashes of American Flags
Im The Man Who Loved You
Decent enough. Enjoyed the album more as it went on. The riff for Smoke on The Water isn't that good but well done to them regardless.
Best Track - Lazy
