Long album. Made it about 60% through. Solid calm vocals with fun lyrics. Good instrumentals. 3.5/5

A notorious album by a hugely influential band with peaking high points and songs that introduce a unique sound for the time. However the album lacks uniqueness within itself that leaves you by the end feeling a little lackluster. Solid album with strong vocals, and instrumental, but lacking in song individuality that leaves you ready to be finished by the end. 3/5

A strong 1st album with a unique sound for the time. However it doesn't stand the test of time as it falls rather flat compared to the evolution of the genre. While I found myself enjoying a few of the songs, and was never outright disliking anything, I can't imagine myself listening to anything again or even particularly remembering this album. I'd summarize this as harmlessly and unremarkable enjoyable. 2.5/5
