1001 Albums Summary

Favorite Tracks: Paper Tiger and Lost Cause. This album feels a bit ahead of its time - i feel like it could have sounded like it came out only a few years ago. String arrangements throughout were the highlights for me. This is the saddest I’ve heard Beck, too - decent album but not my favorite! 3.25 out of 5

First track had such a slow build build, but going straight into Black Magic Woman was killer. Whole rest of the album was fantastic 4 out of 5. I gotta listen to more Santana.

Yeah hard to beat this, automatic 5 outta 5. Favorites are: Baby Be Mine, Human Nature, P.Y.T.

Really solid and loved the jazz and blues elements throughout. The thrown in punk too made this album chaotic and all over the place and fun, although i think they could have cut some tracks to tighten this album up. Top tracks: Sure Shot, Sabotage (duh), Alright Hear This, and Shambala. 3.5 outta 5

Back half of the album was my favorite, clearly they let Keith Moon do his thing and started experimenting, which was needed. 3.5 outta 5
