1001 Albums Summary

Drugged up, blokey, whiney country, very much of its time. Not my thing at all. But I'd never heard of him so thanks for the opportunity to hear something new.

I was 12 in 1982, and i knew some of these songs very well! But it wasn't a band I followed and was interesting to hear the rest of the album. An early and wonderful example of the 80' s sound, I enjoyed this blast from the past.

Ziggy takes us on a wonderous journey with him exploring new identities and music that still sounds fresh over 50 years later. Even with the hindsight of over 40 years of Bowie evolution and musicianship this album still stands firm as an early expression of a master storyteller who enthralled and challenged us.
