Big switch at track 6. More energy, but darker. ‘Now, this feeling’s so alive // but as you or anything, we die’ ‘I wander through my days Pulled a million ways Help me feel the forces I can’t touch’ Oh — by the end it transforms. Yearning. Sunlight filtered by trees in graveyards. Alone in a crowd as they’re not there.

I really like Maybe Your Baby, mostly the production but also the grasping at possibilities Like Tuesday Heartbreak. Obv superstition is a classic. Big brother is poignant. Album is not entirely my personal taste But is still good and I like some tracks

Obviously I knew the singles - how could I not? And they’re still brilliant. But the production, the vocals and the lyrics here are all outstanding. Brilliant album.
