1001 Albums Summary

This album exhibits yearning and romanticizing for me, I love the nostalgia feel this album gives. Gritty, honest, like I’m being told a story in these songs. Can’t do halves for stars so my real score is 4.5/5 stars :)

Overall a decent listen, very typical early 70s vibes for this era of rock. Jeepster, Mambo Star, Bang a Gong, and Lean Woman Blues are standouts.

Liked it more than I thought I would! Hungry Like the Wolf is an 80s classic in my mind. Enjoyed tracks like New Religion and Hold Back the Rain.

This album and Wish are top tier albums. One of my favorite from this era of alt rock/ post punk

A staple in the neo soul/ R&B realm. One of the most smoothest and recognizable voices ever!
