Crocodiles by Echo And The Bunnymen
Sep 04 2025

I am only familiar with punk bands in the 70s, like Ramones, and that's it. This sounds kind of like them with the voice and the bass drum production. But sometimes riff like Crocodiles and beautiful piano playing like Villiers Terrace make this album shine. Listening in low volume, this album is still very expressive.

Nevermind by Nirvana
Sep 05 2025

Having heard this one recently, I am very confidently familiar already, so let me put this down. The hit single Smell Like Teen Spirit is okay, compared to the next track in the album, In Bloom, which is very random and explosive, and it is a much cooler performance in my opinion, Kurt going 0 to 180 so fast within a drum filler, and then soaring into the chorus. The weird half descending melody, I just love it, the rest are also iconic. The second half of this album is much weaker than the first. Ugh. Great album if the energy kept up in general.

Back In Black by AC/DC
Sep 08 2025

Shit I am excited to listen to this! The music is very solid, all the riffs are simple but perfectly on point for the genre, and the band is tight! holy smokes, the vocals kept slamming on track, and they just keep the energy from start to end. Even though this album did not reinvent the wheels, they sure did a perfect demonstration of how simplied riffs get people riled uip good.

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Sep 09 2025

Disjointed but beautiful, complex in arrangement but simple in melodies. Pleasant arrangement

Synchronicity by The Police
Sep 11 2025

Even tho kind of lame, it the album made up in techniques of three-piece playing, and the synth bloops are very delightful and interesting, a lot of hooks tho simplistic, but is interesting and creative. Lol.

Broken English by Marianne Faithfull

mediocre, i don't appreciate the programming element, bass programing is weak. It sounds kind of slick and cool in some place, the attempts at deep cut lyrics did not do anything for me either. mid
