1001 Albums Summary

I liked a few, but its one of the first albums ive listened the whole way through for a british grunge band. I loved the ambition to use the whole fx board, but probably would not listen through again.

i dont think ive listened to anything this smooth since ever. even though this is mostly a cover album, these songs sounded like originals and at the same time a respectful reflection of the artists who spent time writing them.

I enjoyed it, but in the most melancholy way you can enjoy something. I’ve always loved yorkes use of minimalism, and this is no exception, if in fact one of the best examples.

did not like it, didn’t know he was still alive tbh. Two stars for the legacy, one star because he didn’t live up to it.

unfortunately I do not have any of the apparent nostalgia that most listeners have when relistening to this album. How ever learning about how this was part of the beginning of Rick Rubin’s legendary producing and general music making wisdom definitely made it a more interesting listen. i like it! theres some abstract parts, but they arent too spicy for me. good consistent musicianship, good lyricist, great album

I loved the energy of this album! it felt fun and mysterious at the same time! probably a good relisten or two, but didnt listen good enough to be able to name any songs off the album.
