Larks' Tongues In Aspic
King CrimsonI hate this album. I could not finish the first song. The rest might be prog rock genius. I will probably never know.

I really dont love the way his vocals are recorded on a lot of this album, like he’s singing through an old landline telephone. Moody, depressing. But a vibe.
There are some definite skips on this album. There’s a world…blech. But you could literally have 8 tracks of static and as long as Old Man was on it this album would still be a five.
Meh. Bittersweet symphony is a masterpiece but I am not breaking any news with that! The rest if this album is just okay for a rainy day when all my other plans have fallen through.
Not for me. Bad 80s Paul Simon.
Total banger. There are a couple spots where I felt like I was trapped in the Matrix soundtrack. But overall this is a very listenable album with a lot of musical layers.
I will always feel a special connection to this sublime album. I saw Peter Gabriel three times in the 80s on his touring off "So." Some obvious bangers. "Mercy Street" and "Don't Give Up" still make me emotional when I hear them. And of course one of the most magnificent love songs of all time—"In Your Eyes."
Not. For. Me.
Some of these songs are beautiful shoegaze material at their finest (loved "Otterley"). A number of skips though.
This has the TH hits like Life During Wartime and Heaven, of course. But I so dig the spooky classics like Drugs and Electric Guitar. Drugs, btw, is your brain when it's deciding whether to plunge you into a full fledged bad trip. Love I Zimbra.
