I haven’t ever listened to this album in its entirety and just knew the most known radio hits. What surprised me is my favorite tracks were those I have never heard before. Mothers of the Disappeared was a haunting way to end the album and what a song title.
Started strong with Movin’ Out and I enjoyed the whistling on The Stranger. I hated the lyrics on Just the Way You Are. Overall, some good moments but overall left me feeling underwhelmed.
Brian Eno’s contribution is very noticeable. I love the weird synth. Weeping Wall Sound and vision - LCD Soundsystem Overall, loved it. Even the weird songs
I could tell this musically was a good album but just wasn’t my thing. I did enjoy the guitar, tho!
Brothers and Sometimes stood out to me. I love dance and electronic music - for this to be from 1999 surprised me. It seems like a nod to dance music of the past.
