Central Reservation by Beth Orton
Oct 14 2025

Best songs: Stolen Car, Central Reservation, Blood River Overall a solid and consistent album, would have defined it as pop folk as folk is certainly the main genre of the album, while the electronic influence did not really feel evident in the album (except for the closing track). There are no lows, but also no staggering highs.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Oct 15 2025

Best songs: One Way Or Another, Heart Of Glass Classic pop album with punk influences. It's a time capsule to the 80's, in good and bad. Overall a good album, but some songs, especially in the second disc feel a bit repetitive and samey. Its influence on the music of the 80's cannot be denied. 7/10

Best Songs: Moonage Daydream, Starman; but honestly, you can't go wrong here Ziggy Stardust is a true rock opera and maybe Bowie's magnum opus; during its runtime it's nothing but excellence in an album that's compact yet full of creativity and flavour.

The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden
Oct 17 2025

Best songs: Children of the Damned, Hallowed Be Thy Name Short but packed metal album, which etched itself within the most representative of the genre. The guitar riffs and solos shine through, and despite some repetitiveness the album overall deserves its acclaim by metal enthusiasts.

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Oct 20 2025

Best songs: Spellbound, Arabian Nights, Sin in My Heart A pleasant surprise. This album is an interesting piece of goth rock, which shines in its moodier songs. I found the two songs that close the first side a bit grating and not as creative as the others, but overall this album is a worthy listen. 7/10
