The Rolling Stones
The Rolling StonesIt’s decent but I’m a 70s stones fan, this album is cool for historical reference.

Gas, no notes, one of my all time favorites.
Good album, I enjoyed this listen through. I forgot how much filler was on this album though. Easy to tell it’s a blueprint for a lot of prog, people like Danny Carey definitely make a lot more sense after hearing this album. 3.5/5
This album was way better than I remembered. They were tight and soulful. There was maybe one or two songs that felt like they needed to fill space like their cover of Listen to the Music, but other than that I loved it.
Ah yes, I love this Kanye album feat J Dilla and that guy named Common who talks the whole time. Maybe I’m being a little too harsh, I actually enjoy listening to this album. 3/5
It’s good, but maybe a little too clean for my taste. I was hoping for maybe a little more exploration and experimentation with the solos. Worth the listen though, 3.5/5
I spent half of this album looking forward to the end and wishing Ray Manzarek would quit playing the keys so loud and start playing them more creatively. But then the B side started and that redeemed a lot of the album for me. There was a lot more I enjoyed on the B side, including “The End” which is unnecessarily long but I was kind of into it.
Loved this album, a little bit sonically exhausting just because of how much is going on and how many different musical ideas get expressed. 4/5 though, big fan. I’ll be listening again
Bass lines go crazy on this album, big fan.
Loved this album
Wow, I really loved this. 4.5/5
