Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Oct 29 2025

Toys in the Attic - kind of raw sound, very unpolished compared to more mainstream Aerosmith tracks Uncle Salty - blues influenced track. Pretty meh Adam's Apple - pretty rockin. Still nothing very standout about it, but fun track Walk This Way - absolutely classic. Maybe just from familiarity, but it seems so different from the rest of the album Big Ten Inch Record - comedy blues song. Probably considered more risqué back when it was released Sweet Emotion - another absolute classic. Not much to say about this song that hasn't already been said. No More No More - Relatively forgettable blues jam Round and Round - a bit of a different sound than the other tracks. I like it for the uniqueness. It has the fewest plays of all the tracks on Spotify, but it wasn't my least favorite track at all You See Me Crying - the typical piano ballad at the end of the album. Not terrible but also not memorable. I think it's pretty clear why Walk This Way and Sweet Emotion are the two standout singles from this album. The rest is honestly pretty forgettable. I generally try to be an album listener, but I can't imagine ever wanting to sit down and listen to this entire album again

I honestly couldn't really get into this album much at all. Even the most popular song, Mr. Tambourine Man, is not something I find interesting at all.

It's a decent album, with Stan being the standout track. I know The Real Slim Shady is very popular, but I don't find it very interesting. I feel that the track featuring Snoop and Dre is one of the best on the album other than Stan. Many of the other tracks really aren't anything special to me.
