Pretenders
PretendersRocking and shi. Liked a handful of songs a lot, others were either p good or okay. Some kinda floated out of my ear but a lot of great songs and stuff.

Banger fr, very good jams, very concise.
Already listened to this one. My fav from Willie I like the moody/sad vibes. Def one for driving at night or maybe staring at stars. Fav track is Georgia on My Mind and Blue Skies.
I wish there were half star ratings, I’d give it 4.5. Very nice, occasionally sporadic.
Low better but much better than lodger. I love Heroes the song and also the the instrumental on the backend is v solid.
Sea change is becks best album. Very chill but also somber and saddening at times.
This was not grabbing me man. I’ll say the production is solid in thought, when everything is put together it just doesn’t speak to me, I think it sounds clunky and jarring to listen to. I like Solsbury Hill…
Didn’t get to spend as much time listening as I needed to, but Anohni’s writing is the key of this record from my listen and their singing style is noteworthy as well. My fav song is What Can I Do? Still wish there were half star ratings it would get 3.5 if so
My fav thing about this album is the cat on the cover. What a beautiful lil cat, authentic 70s cat.
I liked this one. Kinda feels like one of those of the moment albums but it seem to mix and blend some soft indie rock vibes with some more diverse instrumental colors so it’s p cool
Probably the best debut of all time. Proto-everything, it covers a lot of ground. It has songs that are very calm and comforting and other songs that are scary and horrendous in atmosphere. I don’t think it’s absolutely perfect, but especially for the time it’s still pretty dang groundbreaking. It would’ve been 4.5 Stars if I could, but 5 will be okay :)
Nina is a confirmed amazing songwriter. Crazy to think about how many fantastic songs she pushed out in rapid succession. Favs here are Four Women, Lilac Wine and Wild is the Wind
Never heard of this one before today, but I liked it. Mostly solid, I’d say it was worth the 5 listens I got.
