Truth And Soul by Fishbone
Nov 03 2025

Fun and funky album. Pretty danceable too, not something heard very much in more modern music. Does sound a bit dated now so this could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on whether you want to feel the nostalgia of the 90’s or not

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Nov 11 2025

Always in the conversation for Bruce’s best. Total classic

My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello
Nov 17 2025

I’m a big Costello fan and this one is quite unique and one of the best. It’s comparable to something like oasis’s definitely maybe in that it captures that exciting, raw newness that can only be heard in a debut album. Beyond this he would make equally great albums but sounding more like the established artist we know to this day. It’s great!

Low by David Bowie
Nov 18 2025

One of Bowie’s most artistic statements. An album of two halves. One side light and poppy and one side instrumental and hugely downbeat. For me, it wasn’t just an album I had to hear multiple times to appreciate, but had to live with for many years. Totally worth your attention though and I think it has the best sound of the Berlin trilogy.

Rubber Soul by Beatles
Nov 24 2025

Everything has been said before. Top tier Beatles album with autumnal vibes.

Nov 28 2025

For me , it’s up there with his n hers and different class. These three all have their charms and show pulp at their very best. This is the darkest of these albums and the most rock oriented. Brilliant

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Dec 11 2025

My favourite from Paul Simon. Impressive first album following the breakup with Garfunkel. Nice warm sound and feeling with catchy tunes too.

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Dec 23 2025

There’s beautiful moments throughout this. It has an original sound and once you’ve fallen under its spell there’s nothing else quite like it. For those who have found the beauty in this album, it will be an album they come back to time and time again because nothing else will scratch that itch. I think it’s possible to pick apart this album and find fault but that’s a mistake. Over analysing everything will only rob you of enjoyment.
