Listening statistics & highlights
Quirky, poppy, post-punk. Refreshingly NOT the music of today, and imo, the content holds up. I found the sweet bits surprising, and the sour bits unique. Definitely putting this in my regular rotation.
A dang classic. I am a sucker for the tight, lush marmonies in combo with driving Americana folk rock. The title track is unexpected, and on the whole, th album has good variety and feels like a moment in time. It didn't blow my mind, but it went down easy and it was good to hear these songs again.
Some classic songs, but not a great album.
I never get tired of Jack White. Clever lyrics, clever arrangements, and I enjoy the bombastic approach to the classic rock ‘n’ roll format.
