1001 Albums Summary

This one feels halloween-y! Love the harpsichord ish synths and sort of goth-wave stylings. I can't describe it well, but there's something a little bit musical theater about it too. Like in the song "Parade."

When the Levee Breaks...so epic. This is not my favorite Led Zeppelin album but it's definitely the one that makes me appreciate their blues roots the most. Stairway to Heaven, classic, but actually feels a little out of place on this one imo.

Soooo good. Snoop dog rocks, the beats are great, it's pretty clear how much hip hop owes to this record. I'm a dumbass and don't listen to much other than a select few rappers (Outkast and Kendrick mostly. I know that's lame!) but this is definitely going into the rotation.

Absolutely rules. Perfect working music, a nice combination of chipper and soulful and heartfelt. I love the multitude of languages used here (unless I'm really mistaken). So worldly, makes me ashamed of my American-ness in a good way, and also makes me want to go on vacation and walk around soaking the new things to do and see BAD.

Sometimes i get the urge for some twee shit but I'm watching HBOs girls right now so i've had enough probably until 2027

ew i was such a hater before, this album is beautiful - smooth and raw at the same time. good shit.

most likely not gonna come back to this one but it was enjoyable

a classic for sure. glad for the excuse to listen again.
