1001 Albums Summary

It was okay. There’s a lot of eclectic sounds. Think I listened to about 70% of the album. Could finish it - but fancy the next album.

Slow but Springsteen start. ‘Nebraska’ (the song) and the melody is beautiful. ‘Atlantic City’ was already a ‘liked’ song. Love it. The transition from ‘Mansion on the Hill’ to ‘Johnny 99’ … more energy. ‘Highway Patrolmen’ slower. Song about friendship. Romantic. ‘Open All Night’ was a head nodder! ‘Reason to Believe’ encapsulates the album.

Listened to half the album. Up to the point I listened, ‘Legs’ was my favourite.

Loved it. 2nd half of the album was as great.

Great! Confused as to who Sparks actually are but Fred and I liked it.
