1001 Albums Summary

fave track: aurora i went into this already knowing i don’t really like björk, because she gives me a headache and her words are always too drawn out. four songs in and im not a big fan of the lofi vibes i’m getting (though i’m sure it was a big deal in 2001). very reminiscent of other scandi artists i’ve listened to but without the otherworldly lyricism i prefer. NEVER KNEW THE INTRO TO PAGAN POETRY WAS WHERE THAT TIKTOK SOUND CAME FROM?!? i do like the low intensity of the whole album but that’s kind of it, besides that not a huge fan.

really enjoyed this one! i knew i would love iggy pop based on similar artists, but didn't know he did the passenger (which i fear i definitely should've known). i am a big fan of the 60s-70s rock scene anyway which for sure made this slightly biased.

bloody brilliant! but it's queen so...i loved this album, especially as i haven't really listened to the full thing before.

I really enjoyed this one! loving the folky aspects of an album that does not seem to even need them, but thy really maid all the difference!
