I liked the instrumentals, but didn’t like the vocals of the first track.
Didn’t notice the transition between 1 and 2.
Heard the surf rock in three.
It’s rock, but a bit weird. The tracks continue to blend together.
Not something that I’d listen to again, but looking at the date, it feels like it must have been important.
And just as I said that! I added their rendition of fever to my library. That was unexpected.
Not what I was expecting when I saw the name XD too, but to be honest, I only knew sharp dressed man.
Was not expecting long haired cowboys singing the blues.
Very funky and I like funk.
I thought it would be a good idea to break out the headphones for this and I did.
Missed most of the lyrics, tbh, but enjoyed the experience of it.
This feels cool.
I only know a couple of songs, but it feels familiar and it’s easy to listen to. Ahhh, you really got me is a cover- I know the kinks version.
I’m starting to wonder if I should listen to these on chronological order..:and also how much this is messing up my suggestion algorithm.
I’m going to watch you bleed? Anyway, I recognize some of the hats on the album cover.
I like it’s so easy better 5than welcome to the jungle.
Added mr brownstone to my library
It was interesting. I only knew sweet child of mine before this. I don’t enjoy some of the whine that you hear in the higher pitched vocals, which I’ve heard in some of the tracks
Oh, I love this song. I don’t think I know anything else on the record offhand, but I’ll get out my headphones for this one.
Looking at the track list, I also know guns of brixton.
I’m loving some of these songs, but don’t know if I’d listen to this album straight through again.
I’ve always loved this album cover.
This sounds like the kind of music that my dad listens to.
An early record, so if sounds a bit familiar and yet very different from what I usually know of their discography.
Oddly enough, right after I finished listening to this album it gave me a 2019 remaster of La grange by ZZ Top and even on a phone speaker I’m feeling it more this time around.
Interesting guitar instrumentals.
I enjoyed this but it didn’t really stand out.
This is not the album I was expecting when I saw the cover, but I enjoyed the organ jazz.
My dad walks by and says that he has all of the Dave Brubeck quartet albums.
I, of course, only knew take five, but I enjoyed the whole thing.
Inconveniently not on iTunes. Okay. I made it work.
I’m not really a fan of folk, but it’s a good album.
Though I preferred some of his other covers that actually were on itunes
Arcade fire? Really?
Actually, I hadn’t listened to any of the songs from this album, but when I heard the name, I thought “oh, I like them.” I’m digging this first track already.
Oddly enough, if quizzed I probably couldn’t name a single song of theirs.
Somehow this opening makes me think that this is a person who is cooler than I am. I mean, that was a given, but yeah.
…ok, not sure what I make of that one.
This is another one where I only know one song off of the album, but it’s a banger.
The rest of the album was pretty interesting. All over the place, really.
And the suggestions iTunes gave me after this one were great as well.
I’m surprised that I already know the first two tracks.
You know, I had rock lobster saved in my library already and I have no idea why.
Added 52 girls as well.
I hadn’t really thought of them as new wave because I’ve mostly listened to British new wave, but I might’ve saved rock lobster off of a new wave playlist
Another one where i knew the name of the group but couldn’t name a single track.
I liked it, but wouldn’t seek it out.
Well, that was something.

It was okay, I guess.
I actually preferred some of rhe unplugged stuff that wasn’t on the actual album.
