3.5/5 good album! would listen again! very joni mitchell coming up on alanis morissette

couldn't access it on spotify, found it on youtube. funk is so interesting to me as something you doesnt listen to it. the lyrics make sense but they're absurdist. its like a camus novel with groove and a backing choir. fried ice cream is a reality man. a lot of great songwriting and the penultimate song is a sudden rock-based guitar solo. very accessible funk for a rock fan. 7.5/10 but leans 4/5

jazz album! maybe next time I go to listen to the whiplash soundtrack, I should pick this up instead. budo is real life caravan.
