1001 Albums Summary

I Know It's Over is truly among one of the songs of all time for me. The lyrics "It's so easy to laugh, It's so easy to hate, it takes guts to be gentle and kind" did something insane to my brain when I heard it at 15 and now at 19, it still does something crazy to me. That being said, this album is so nostalgic, it sounds like the summer I turned 16 and like being miserable and 15. Crazy that Morissey knows what that felt like. Unfortunately at my core I am one of those indie girls who loves The Smiths but I really do think you have to be a little melodramatic to get them properly. And there's nothing I love if not a little melodrama.

This album is incredibly fun and makes me feel a little like I should be listening to it a beat up Ford driving down some highway somewhere. I remember getting into this album a bit when I was 16 but I've never sat down and listened to the full thing until now and what a treat it was! The guitar in this album is soo addicting and the horns in this are just, for lack of a better word, so sexy.

Been meaning to get around to The Doors for a minute and this album was fun! That little organ is doing a lot for me I won't lie!

Every time I listen to Springsteen I get the hype but I also feel like someone’s divorced father so maybe it’s a vibe thing That being said, really loved this album. I haven’t really hated anything I’ve heard so far from Springsteen so I guess I’ll keep diving but this one was fun!
