Best of the Beatles albums, I think 🤔

What in the Tony Hawk Pro Skater is going on here. It is what it is, not on my daily or weekly or monthly spins but hey it's kinda a vibe.

🗣️💥 1,000 QUEER SHEEP, NEVER HAD BARE FEET 🎶🎤 My biggest personal gripe with this album has always been the instrumentation. It's so pared down, simple, hollow. Like a bunch of pre-recorded backing tracks for her to sing karaoke songs over (albeit extremely well). Yes it lets her voice shine and sure, some of these songs are meant to be piano ballad anthems, but damn if they'd produced some of these songs with a bigger, broader, fuller, more daring sound, some of these mid-tier 'filler' songs like Turning Tables / Do You Remember / He Won't Go coulda been willldddd. I'll Be Waiting / One And Only got the closest but still seemed to be lacking pizzazz. Give me more pocketed drumming, a less linear bass line, bigger horns/organ, give the bridges more sauce, I'm left begging for more out of these. Her voice is undeniable.

POSTROCKKKKK. Awesome album. Dancing around the apartment listening, sets a fantastic morning vibe. I really have been loving a lot of music out of this era lately.

Funny timing, I was listening through LA Woman and An American Prayer yesterday. Fantastic listen, top to bottom, Morrison really was something wild.
