Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd

extremely long songs, especially / more specifically shine on you crazy diamond, pts.1-5;6-9 the songs aren’t bad, just very long, which I feel like is a bittttt exaggerated but idk maybe it’s some lore of theirs which I haven’t understood yet. I really like the transition from wish you were here to shine on you crazy diamond, pts.6-9.

Zombie by Fela Kuti

extremely long songs, do get kind of boring over time because it’s just so repetitive. I feel like it would be so much better if his songs would be shorter, but at this length it’s just dragging the same melody for too long. overall 3/10

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Dec 17 2025

very slow, songs get pretty repetitive and the album kind of had a creepy vibe to it, idk why.. wouldn’t listen to it again, but I understand why some people like it.

Play by Moby

• very house music-ish, experimental, which I really like • it almost feels like his music was slightly ahead of its time while simultaneously keeping that late 90s vibe • overall very interesting album with a slight eery vibe, which I kind of enjoy though • all tracks are very different from each other yet still similar which I find interesting in a good way

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Dec 21 2025

okayyyy alternative / rock from the (early) 2000s is basically already a plus point • very calm but a bit boring / underwhelming I must say • I’m not a big fan of his voice • the instrumentals are overall very nice, it’s really just his voice that kind of ruins the song to some extent for me 💔

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Dec 22 2025

I don’t really know what to say, this was the first full red hot chili peppers album I’ve ever heard and it’s not something I expected but also not something unexpected either. pretty neutral about it, some songs were a bit more questionable than others, but maybe that’s their appeal anyways.

very nice cozy vibe, the last two songs kinda ruin it but it’s nice for background noise

War by U2

haven’t listened fully, but I feel like this is what people think of when you mention classic, 80s rock. honestly so far it’s pretty good, just not legendary
