1001 Albums Summary

Good Feeling is definitely my favorite on this album, “Dear Lady, just a little longer.” Overall, I can’t say I was surprised; this is exactly what I would expect from a 1983 album called Violent Femmes. Not the most danceable album, but certainly a fun one. I did shed some tears. This album was also a little filthy, but in a fun way. This album is multi-faceted but fun. LOTS OF GOOD DRUMS! Not something I would listen to on any day, but still so good and fun, I love that people make music!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ .9 stars

Long songs(8 songs, 45 minutes), I didn’t really enjoy the execution of the lyrics. I think this album would have been just as good if it were solely instrumental. Bloody Well Right made me feel like Tom Cruise in Risky Business dancing in his underwear, so +1 for that. Overall, definitely not Supertramp’s best work, but I would listen again while walking down the street alone at 2:30 in the morning (asylum would eat). Sidenote: Background vocals genuinely scared me multiple times. 2.4 stars.
