1001 Albums Summary

This is a classic album, that I had never listened to before. I'm glad this spurred me to take the time to give it a listen all the way through. I will say this was not my favorite album, as it is not the type of rap/hip hop I tend to listen to. However, I really enjoyed how you could tell the group was having a lot of fun making recording the album. It allowed me to feel a connection to it which was fun.

The album was very consistent, almost too consistent. The songs started to blend together to me and I didn’t feel excited by any of them.

This is my favorite album so far from this experience. There was some variety to the sound of the album. Definitely much more up my alley. I think I need to give it another listen all the way through to pick out particular songs that I like from the album, but it has potential.
