1001 Albums Summary

15 step- 5/10 more upbeat than i was expecting, alot of drums. a solid 5/10 as there was too much happening. body snatchers- 6.5/10 loved the distortion, more my style.again there was alot happening overstimulation nude- 7/10 wasnt expecting it to be so good. definitely added to the playlist weird fishes/ arpeggi -6/10, bit sad for me and too long of a song. still good tho. all i need- 7.5/10 popular for a reason. beautiful song, captures feelings of helplessness and longing perfectly. faust arp- 5/10 overly sad. felt like it had no peak. filler song. reckoner- 4/10 another filler song. no climax. nothing overly special house of cards- 4/10 too sad for me jigsaw falling into place- 6/10 good song, had a build up, bit too long of a song. video tape- 4/10 i dont like the slapping noise in the background, feels repetitive. sad song. overall- 6/10. clearly a very talented band but just not my style, good music and singer. favourite is all i need

overall i find this album to be overly repetitive, from the lyrics, the overall melodies and the instruments used i just believe it needed something different to break up every song and differentiate them. i enjoyed the upbeat feel and the raspy voice, almost reminded me of the beatles.

as a whole i loved this album, every song rated atleast a 7/10 with them all having their own unique aspects. the lyrics are extremely political and as they should be because everything is political. an absolutely amazing album
