The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Dec 20 2025

It was a good album and I was surprised at how good it was. Not my genre of music but still found enjoyment. I did tune out at the midpoint but wasn't put off by the music at a point it did start to sound samey but then was drawn back in. I wanna be adored was a great opening with a few other good songs scattered in between such as (song for my) sugar spun sister and fools gold which caught my attention. I did split the listening choosing to come back to it throughout the day maybe a full relisten needs to happen to properly enjoy and understand all songs Pretty good album and a few songs went into my like will definitely listen again for fuller experience

At Mister Kelly's by Sarah Vaughan
Dec 21 2025

Started at 10:06 was recorded live at a performance pretty cool This is the first Jazz album I have listened too and it was great. The first thing the caught me off guard was the fact that it was all recorded live and on the spot which just highlights the talents of Sarah Vaughn. A really great introduction to jazz and the crackling and voices in the background gave the music a very atmospheric feel that current music doesn't have because of the background silence of studios. Having slight background noise elevates the music especially when hearing audiences clap and laugh in the background. Other artists have incorporated slight background noise in their music an example would be Playboi Carti on Rockstar Made where you can hear his chains swinging in the background. This was a great listen, the personality and soul of the music created a calming atmosphere definitely something I would go back to listen too.

Darkness on the Edge of Town by Bruce Springsteen
Dec 22 2025

Started listening at 11:37 I havent been able to listen to this album the whole way through. The music isn't terrible but it just isn't making me want to listen to it. Going into the album I already had a negative view on it maybe I should give it a proper listen through to formulate a proper opinion on it. I managed to listen and was kinda disappointed it wasn’t bad music and was made really well it just wasn’t for me. It did take me a while to listen through it all again which is bad cause it’s only 45 mins but hey.

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Dec 24 2025

Frank Sinatra is absolutely amazing definitely a great starting point in terms of an album of his. I listen to this while riding on a lime bike and it was amazing gave a great calming and almost Christmasy feel but something that is timeless also. Was able to share with my girlfriend too who is also a big fan of Frank Sinatra great listen all throughout

The College Dropout by Kanye West
Dec 25 2025

A classic album Started listening at 11:32 What can I say about this album that already hasn’t been said??? Genuinely some of the most detailed and insanely produced beats mixed with great charactered lyrics. It’s unfortunate that we will never see anything like this from Kanye again and that he had taken such a dark turn in his life but it’s clear to see that his music created a blueprint for the music in the 20 years that followed this album one of if not the best hip hop albums of all time.

Dec 26 2025

I haven’t listened to the whole album but most songs have been listened to outside of album form. It’s Christmas music it’s great and festive and captures the spirit of Christmas something I fear modern music is not able to do when making Christmas music. These are staples of Christmas and classics that will never get old

Mr. Tambourine Man by The Byrds
Dec 29 2025

Listened to the whole album It was good I couldn’t pick out any songs that I would say are my favourite. There was a cover of we’ll meet again which was okayish idk if it was a cover or they just interpolated it but it was good. Maybe a revisit is needed to fully hear all this album had to offer this is also my first day in a while of doing the daily albums so maybe this was another reason I couldn’t get into it well

Immigrés by Youssou N'Dour
Jan 05 2026

Started listening at 11:50 This is the shortest album I have listened to in terms of content with only 4 songs but coming in at 34mins I can say not a single song overstays its welcome. The use of instruments to create such welcoming and energetic music is just amazing. While I might not understand the lyrics I can hear the passion throughout the songs. Language is not a barrier to music but shows just how the voice can be used to create and add to what is already giving through instruments. This is definitely an album I will keep coming back to and Youssou will be an artist I will continue to listen too

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Mar 09 2026

I didn’t finish this album but I did get very close to finishing. Some songs on here I have heard before and do like them. David Bowie is a legend and his work is like art. I need a full listen however.
