1001 Albums Summary

My first Reggae album. I love the base lines, the instrumentals are delightful. I really like Bob Marley's voice as well. However the repetitive lyrics and melodies aren't for me. Found myself distracted and zoned out a lot. Favorite track: Talkin' Blues Least Favorite track: Bend Down Low

This is an iconic album with notable storytelling. It's just simply not my sound. Really interesting, but not enjoyable. Somehow I do see myself revisiting this album. Favorite track: I Do Not Want This Least favorite track: Eraser

This is an album that's right up my alley. I don't really know much about music yet, but I know this was phenomenal. I love how emotion is built up and released again and again. I love how the storytelling in each song is distinctive, but also in harmony with each other as a whole album. Wow! This album feels like running through wet city streets late at night. Favorite track: Mis-Shapes, Bar Italia (Fantastic opener and closer) Least favorite track: Pencil Skirt

I'm not fond of the holiday season. And lately I've been feeling quite blue. This album helped cheer me up. I hate to admit it, but Christmas Songs are so damn good. Sucks that this was made by a murderer though. Favorite track: Sleigh Ride Least favorite track: none. All of them are fantastic.
