1001 Albums Summary

couple of good songs, “jazzier” then i thought. favourite song was probably “no woman no cry”

soul music is pretty good. it’s the crying of a black man’s soul. the chord changes on “lala for you” were funky, probably my favorite track

i liked it. the second half was way better, andre 3000 is a pretty cool guy. I liked when he prayed to god (who is a woman). favourite song is probably hey ya cause i’m basic but i’ll just have to listen again to get a better favorite.

pretty standard christmas music. i like christmas (baby please come home) because i’ve heard it before. the ending was really sweet, it exemplifies the christmas spirit. a bunch of artists coming together to share merriment and jolly.

david bowie is pretty good, but i don’t feel anything special about this album. some funky stuff, some mellow stuff. it’s still great because it’s david bowie, but nothing feels too out there. idk. favourite track “wild is the wind”

pretty cool record, is this what kanye sounds like? some nice songs, but the rest kinda feels like standard rap. not enough substance for me 🫤. favourite track was “real”

bob dylan makes good music. i should listen to him. he makes just a guitar, his voice, and harmonica sound interesting. good job. favourite track was probably “a hard rain’s gonna fall”

holy peak. amazing album. so joyous and luscious. favourite track might be jungle or the whale, but they’re all really good. this album reminds me of phantom island by king gizzard but only better
