1001 Albums Summary

An absolute classic of an album, very big songs on here. For me, I particularly love The Battle of Evermore more than some of the other well known songs, the lyrics, the mandolin, the duet, it’s magic.

What an amazing album, such style, great songs, a perfect album.

Some definite classics on here, but I don’t know that I’m going to be listening to the whole album that often.

This really is not for me. Sounds like a band that critics love and expect you to praise, but I am not feeling this.

I enjoyed this better than I thought I would.

Oh good lord more pretentious art rock, the pride at the wildly out of tune guitar noise, please stop.

Jammy, jazzy, genre bending!

The acoustic work is nice, each song initially sounds like something that I would hear at a hotel pool on vacation but then the melody is just repetitive, repetitive, not really something I’ll be listening to again.
