1001 Albums Summary

I wanted to give it higher, but the overtly religious tones in the middle were rough, and it just really falls flat at the end of the album. Can't go higher than 3 stars, and most of that is coming from the title track.

It's a Christmas album, so I am not gonna rate it high. Musically it's good, all of the songs could be used to represent their respective versions. It's just not my thing and it probably never will be.

Not really any duds on this album, it's a smooth listen all the way through. Roadhouse Blues is criminally underrated. Might revise the stars later, after a few more listens, but it's a solid 4 stars for sure. Dad would have liked this one.

I didn't find it interesting. Musically, it's fine but not my style. Lyrics are boring and some of the tracks are repetitive af.

Yeah this is the stuff right here. Bangers from start to finish

Starts off great, but I didn't enjoy the second half. It deserves another listen though, so maybe I will update.

I didn't like the other Marvin Gaye album, this one is worse.

Everything about this album was a 3. Musicality, lyrics, literally everything. No way this should be one of the albums on this list.

This album is horrible, this is my first DNF
