Who's Next by The Who
Dec 29 2025

WHOS NEXT by THE WHO ( 1971 ) The album starts off weak with songs like" baba o'riley" only featuring 1 prominent guitar riff and songs like "love ain't for keeping" and "getting in time" lacking depth . "My wife" let's you get started in lyrical intrest with good storytelling. The album for me picks up momentum from "The Song is ove" , the songs that follow "Getting in Tune", "Going Mobile" and "Behind Blue Eyes" makes it difficult for you to choose a favourite, "Won't get fooled again" brings the best climax to the album concluding it on the best note possible . The higjoght for me were " Behind Blue Eyes " and " "Won't Get Fooled Again" . My favourite out of all songs was "Bargain" absolutely beautiful.

The Specials by The Specials
Dec 30 2025

THE SPECIALS by THE SPECIALS (1979) If the album could be summarised into one it would be a fight between the style of the specials and that of elvis Presley's catalogue of early 70's. For me the album poses as a letdown with monotonous beats and peculiar style of reverberation. Although one things that is done extremely well is storytelling throught in songs like LITTLE BITCH , A MESSAGE TO YOU RUDY , and especially STUPID MARRIAGE. The album doens't surprise me when it ends and doesn't deliever a favourite with the only standout songs being YOU'RE WONDERING NOW , LITTLE BITCH , MONKEY MAN , NEW ERA and STUPID MARRIAGE
