1001 Albums Summary

I loved this album, I have heard some of Nina Simone's music before but I had never done a deep dive so I was really excited to listen to this album. Her voice is on e in a billion and the raw emotion that is displayed in her voice, especially in the songs that delve in to heavier topics is moving. I enjoyed every song although there wasn't a song that I really really was obsessed with so that's why I'm not giving it 5 stars. My favorite song was "If I should Lose You," the lyricism is beautiful and my favorite verse is "with you beside me a rose would bloom in the snow."
