Top-three Taylor album to me, and I think the one that launched her as a true crossover superstar, shedding any last bits of country exclusivity remaining.

without interesting textures, krautrock is just ostinato run amok. meh.

Truly some parts of this still sound contemporary and fresh. Idk how they did it, but I know it blew minds back in the day. I’ll probably not ever listen to this again, but it’s very cool to see a clear step in the evolution of rock music preserved in the fossil record this way.

All rise for the millennial white guy’s national anthem.

It’s really good. I just don’t really feel the need to come back and listen to it after this. Top tier album cover of all time though.
