Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen

Rating: 4.5/10 Fave Track/s: N/A Least Fave/s: I don’t even know, it’s that forgettable ‘Born To Run’ (in my opinion) is incredibly underwhelming. While no tracks on the record are inherently “Bad”, none of them are that enjoyable either. There weren’t any melodies that stuck with me, and I didn’t admire the “Heartland Rock” sound either. I respect everyone else's opinion, but this album is essentially just background noise for me.

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Dec 30 2025

Rating: 6.9/10 Even though 'Bryter Later' is certainly not my favourite thing I've heard from Nick, I still respect it's devotion to composition, lyricism, and instrumentation, evident on tracks like 'One Of These Things First', and 'Northern Sky'. I prefer Nick's more folksy side, and while there are hints of folk on this record, i think it's more baroque pop adjacent. (I like baroque pop, but as i mentioned, i'd rather listen to Nick's folkier stuff) Still relatively solid though. Fave Tracks: One Of These Things First, Bryter Later, Northern Sky, Sunday, Hazel Jane (I & II) Least Fave: Fly
