1001 Albums Summary

I think this album is gonna be chill with some upbeat songs but a good album to have in the background of doing any activity. Mambo Sun- I not really sure how to feel about it, I liked it but I’ve never really thought of myself actually listening to a song like that but it’s chill Cosmic Dancer- Is more of the type of song I see myself listening to. It has a pretty melody and his voice really suits this type of song. Jeepster- is one of those upbeat songs, I feel like I’m in an 80s movie and I’m getting ready for a Halloween party or like going somewhere with my friends. I enjoyed it. Monolith- I like the intro, wow, I liked how his voice sounded in this one too. Probably my favorite song as of now! Lean Woman Blues- this song was chill, I didn’t really care for it. But I feel like it would be cool to see it live. It gave grease in the dance scene. Get it on- it was repetitive, it was still a good song but idk.. not really one I would listen to often. Planet Queen- it had a great intro I liked the beat it had for the song but it kinda got repetitive towards the end of the song but it’s still enjoyable. Girl- this song was good I think I tend to like more of his slower songs. But I really enjoyed that song! The motivator- I really liked this song, I think it’s one of the top songs. I like how at the end it speeds up. Life’s a gas- it’s a slower song. I really like this song too it’s low key neck and neck with the motivator… even though it repeats life’s a gas they make it fit where it doesn’t really become annoying or just repetitive. Rip off- a more upbeat song, I liked it especially when it changes the part a bit. The tenor or alto sax solo at the end it great too. It’s a little repetitive but it’s still a good song. Hot love - a side - you like the way she what.. this song made me feel like I was listening to country.. no hate idk why. It feels like I’m listening to a kids song towards the end.. I liked the beginning idk not my favorite song. Woodland rock- this is very grease dance scene.. not a song I would listen to often.. The king of the mountain cometh- the beat is like old country, dark but more rock upbeat in some parts. The doo ba doo a dow part sticks . This album is kinda what I thought it would be , having slow songs but also having upbeat songs. I think I prefer the slower songs in this album. I also learned I kinda hate when artists make noises themselves. Like the constant WOW was not my style. But this album is something to have in the background while studying or just anything. I would give it like a 2.5/3 out of 5 cause there’s are good songs like cosmic dancer and monolith. As well as life’s a gas and the motivator being behind those songs. A lot of the songs would probably be really cool to hear in person at a concert but a lot of those songs were giving a dance scene in the 70s/80s movies. Overall I think I would listen to some of the slower songs again while idk about the rest.!

I couldn’t really listen to the album because they took it off of Spotify… but the song with the same name is good! I liked it, it reminded me of sitting in my grandparents truck listening to music they played while they drove me around California.
