1001 Albums Summary

Upbeat jazz instrumental. Elevated elevator music. A pleasant listen while working.

Solid album title and cover. Several jams off this album I've heard but didn't know who sang them or anything about this guy. I've only ever heard Mariah Carey's version of Without You, so Schmilsson's cover fell flat for me, but overall I really enjoyed this album!

This is a genre and time period of music I'm not at all familiar with. It sounds very low-budget and computerized to me. Didn't care for the lead singers voice or the lyrics, and overall just didn't love this album.

If I had been older when this first came out, I would have ate this up.

Live jazz!

Great album from one of my favorite classic oldies rock bands.

Influental (for it's time)? Maybe...though it sounds like a lot of other music from this time. Good? No.

Another white, male, classic rock band. I mean, I like steely Dan, not sure that this is their best album. This 1,001 albums list is starting to lose some credibility for me. I guess it never claims that it's the best albums.
